WHAT'S THE POINT OF MULTIPLE PAIRS OF MONITORS OF THE SAME SERIE?

Usually it has no sense to have 3 and 5 inch studio monitors for example. The bigger version is usually the better. I can't imagine a case when you need both smaller and bigger one (and yes I know this is rather KRK's showcase). But maybe you can change my mind?
